We offer you free auction estimate valuations of your Jewellery, Antiques and Collectables. Depending on your collection and location, we can make a visit to your home, but we also encourage you to come and see us at our salerooms in Newbury. Hopefully we can help find a few hidden treasures for you! Our regular specialist auctions also mean you will be able to sell the items promptly and also receive the proceeds from sales three weeks post auction. We provide FREE auction valuations and estimates and if you are thinking of selling items or your collection, we offer a single fixed fee commission with no hidden costs. For example there is no lotting fee and no extra charges for photographs, insurance, storage. We also have a transportation service available to you.

Our experienced and qualified valuers can assist you whether you are a private individual or a firm of solicitors when carrying out valuation for probate or inheritance tax purposes. Due to our size and flexibility you will find our rates extremely competitive and tailored to each assignment. We also understand that this is a sensitive time and also the importance of dealing with the valuation in a fast, considered and professional manner. We recognise that everyone is different and each estate and property we value is unique. Therefore, we compile an inventory of all the items present and produce a bound copy for the estate. This inventory is also kept indefinitely with Special Auction Services. All our valuations are carried out in accordance with the requirements of HMRC.

Whether you are a private individual or a business our experienced and qualified valuation team will produce a valid insurance certificate should you ever need to use it. Over the years we have produced many insurance valuations. These have been from a single unique object, such as a diamond ring or rare collectable, right through to the complete contents of a Georgian manor house.
For each valuation certificate we provide a description of the item or collections and present this in a bound copy for you to keep for your records. We also hold a copy in our records indefinitely.
