Mirror is in good condition. There is some spotting, oxidation and lifting of silvering to the plate. The gilding on the frame is is excellent order. Some minor cracking can be seen between elements of the carving, probably old warpage to the wood beneath evidencing to the surface. Some evidence of old fixings to the back. An oval of paper has been tacked to the back to protect the mirror. This has not been lifted to inspect beneath. Would benefit from a sensitive clean but all appears sound.
