Kenneth Grahame’s Wind in the Willow Mole and Ratty soft toys, Mole of grey velvet, light brown stitched eye, nose and mouth, swivel head, jointed well shaped limbs with card lined feet, soft stuffed, brown and wool zig-zagged patterned jacket, waistcoat and flat cap —12in. (30.5cm.) high; and a similar Ratty of brown velvet, orange and black glass eyes, plastic whiskers, wired leather tail, blue and white woven top with matching booties and orange felt waistcoat (both with slight fading) - Wind in the Willows was published in 1908, these toys are lovely quality, but it is not certain what age they are
