A rare small German 19th century bisque shoulder head doll with moulded cap, possibly Alt, Beck & Gottschalck, with blue painted eyes, blonde painted eyebrows, closed mouth, double chin, exposed ears, blonde painted and moulded hair swept back in curls from the faces, moulded white cap with frilly edge and tied with three moulded pink ribbons, old stuffed body with bisque arms and pink painted bisque legs with mauve painted heeled boots and dark pink and light pink printed cotton dress and underclothes —11in. (28cm.) high (nose very well restored)
