A 19th Century Phoenix Assurance Company Firemark, made in stoneware by the Coade Pottery Lambeth London, placed on bulidings which The Phoenix rebuilt after a fire and not many were used, having central Phoenix spread winged emerging from flames, over Protection, 36.5cm x 29.5cm x 7.5cm 12.9kg, af

this is made of a cast reconstitued material, there are chips all around the edges, also chips to the lettering with the T missing from the word built and the 9 from the date, chips to the outer central design but the Pheonix looks to be in generally good condition
