A large English poured wax shoulder-head child doll, with head turned slightly to the right, pale blue striated inset glass eyes, inserted eyelashes, eyebrows and long blonde hair, brass eyelets to shoulders, stuffed body with narrow waist and wide hips, poured wax limbs tied on with string through holes, cream ribbed silk dress with blue floral leaf pattern, pleated bodice and blue glass buttons, cream stays with red stitching and trim, chemise and drawers, socks and recent boots, gilt metal braclet, coral brooch and chatelaine —26 1/2in. (67.5cm.) high (neatly repaired shoulders, feint line across face, but does not appear to be a repair and a hair possibly replaced)
