BR Locomotive Name Plate City of London, cast brass of arched form, from class B17/6 61670 City of London, built in 1937 for the LNER by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn, Darlington, Originally as Manchester City, then Tottenham Hotspur and then City of London rebuilt with streamline body as B17/5 and horizontal brass name plate for service on the East Anglian Service Liverpool St to Norwich, this was removed in 1950-51 at Gorton by BR and a Diagram 100A boiler installed, the locomotive returned to service as B17/6 City of London carrying the arched brass name plate, disposed in 1960, VG, ex loco condition, originally purchased from Collectors Corner, 150cm long x 16cm high
