Durham Light Infantry, WWI Casualty Pair and Memorial Plaque awarded to 23/410 Private Harry Elliott, attached to the 18th Infantry Brigade, 6th Division left Southampton Dock onboard Bellerophon, landing at St. Nazaire, spending his active service in France, on 28th June 1918 while in Nash Valley, the German were very active with ariel minenwerfers, shelling our front line and support trenches, seven ORs were wounded and two were killed, including Elliott, died aged 31, his body never identified, he is commemorated on the Loos Memorial Panel 106-107, France (3)
