A fine and early large Steiff teddy bear, 1906-7 with rich cinnamon mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced unclipped cone shaped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and five claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with large paws and felt pads, hump and tiny FF underscore button to ear —28in. (71cm.) high (small bald spot to lower right on back of head, felt to toes expertly repaired, bottom of left foot pad felt also expertly repaired, slight fading to muzzle) - this bear was sold at Giengen Steiff Festival in June 2002 and is now known as Duke
