A 1930s Alpha Farnell Teddy Bear the childhood toy of Juliette Slade, with golden mohair, orange and black glass eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose and mouth, swivel head, jointed limbs with replaced felt pads and stitching, label reapplied to foot pad, hump and inoperative squeaker —18 3/4in. (48cm.) high (general wear and thinning, bald areas); sold with jpegs of images of Juliette including holiday photographs - Juliette was born in 1934 in Broadstairs, Kent; where she spent her childhood. Later in life she moved to Saffron Walden and lived there for sixty years until she died in 2022, her Teddy Bear always stayed with her.
