A French manivelle musical cat automaton late 19th century, with two rabbit fur covered carton cats with glass eyes and whiskers, one cat plays the cello and moves his head, the other is standing on a table conducting, wearing glasses and open mouth makes an occasional meow, on square velvet covered base with green pattern paper to sides —17 1/2in. (44.5cm.) high (a little worn and dusty, fur loss to cellist’s forehead)
