A Jaques of London Staunton chess set

a complete set, the white king with 'Jaques London' impressed towards the base, the black king with a minor loss to the cross, some pieces with minor wear, in a mahogany baize lined box (33)

Condition: The box has a missing trade label to the underside of the lid. A small darker area on the baize is visible where the trade label would have been. The kings are both 10cm high, the black king with a damaged cross, as catalogued. Each piece has green baize to the undersides, some possibly replaced, others loose. Revealing the weighted section to the pieces. A knight and a rook from both colours has a red crown mark printed to the tops.
