A Dean’s Rag Book Co Gallopin Gus the horse circa 1928, of grey printed white brushed cotton, blue and black glass eyes, white felt teeth, white mohair mane and tail, black felt hooves, plaid saddle blanket and string to suspend —9 1/2in. (24cm.) long (faded, slight rust spotting and wear) - Gus was adopted as a mascot by Miss Betty Nuthall an English tennis player in the late 1920s, early 1930s
