We are delighted to be offering part 1 of this amazing collection, 500 lots of beautiful, delicate and rare pieces expertly curated by two very knowledgeable collectors. Having known Rita and Nigel for many years, I did not realise their taste ranged through all aspects of childhood from the early English wooden dolls, Grodnertal dolls, early wood toys, dolls' houses, tin toys, teddy bears and much more. It is sure to excite a lot of collectors, as the 19th century is a very much sort after period for all types of toy collecting and it has been a great pleasure to catalogue. More exciting items in part 2 on the 22nd October 2026.
We are currently consigning for future 2026 & 2027 'Dolls, Teddy Bears and Traditional Toys' Auctions. For further information, please email DollsandTeds@specialauctionservices.com, daniel@specialauctionservices.com or call 01635 580595.
