A WWII and later Special Air Service (SAS) medal group, awarded to Staff Sergeant Howard Frederick Painter (22529586), medals comprising WWII Defence and War, A General Service medal, with Palestine 1945-48 clasp, awarded to Painter while serving in the 3rd Hussars and the Territorial medal awarded while in the SAS, complete with his Service and Pay Book
