A late 18th to early 19th Century country oak coffer, or blanket box. Three panel front carved with two flowers either side of a floral roundel with the initials "RH". The hinged lid retaining an interesting old letterpress label reading "On Monday the 29th of January 1798". 66 cm high by 49 cm deep by 109 cm wide.
