Poland, an exquisite pair of original hand drawn design essays for the face and reverse of a 20 Zloty note, dated 1940 on the face design, produced by Bradbury Wilkinson, the designs in pencil, ink and watercolour measure 8.7cms x 16.2cms, both designs comprise some hand drawn elements directly on to the card with other hand drawn elements applied as layers, both are framed by a card overlay, the face design also has a tracing paper design overlay to the front that was never used but is a bit tatty, the card frames also bear a Bradbury Wilkinson & Co Ltd Label to the bottom left corner, the back of the frames are date stamped '30 Apr 1927', there is some damage to the bottom left edge of the frame for the face design, both designs are very clean with great colour ,overall in very good condition
