Brimfield and Darby - a large German 1930s Teddy Bear, with golden mohair, orange and black spiked glass eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claw, slotted in ears, swivel head, jointed limbs with felt pads, inoperative growler and red leather handbag --31in. (79cm.) high (damage to pads and general wear); and Darby a white mohair terrier dog with clear and black glass eyes with brown painted backs, felt disc behind, black stitched nose and wired ears - purchased from Brightwell's 23rd May 2002, the childhood toys of Mrs Darby who lived in Brimfield and was sold by her neighbour and executor, a pencil note and photos of her house and local church are kept in the handbag
