A rare early Steiff 35PPB rod jointed Monkey circa 1904, with brown mohair, black boot button eyes, inset velvet face with central seam, remains of red painted mouth, stitched nostril, velvet ears, short seam at top of head, swivel head, replaced cloth hands and feet --13 3/4in. (35cm.) high seated (repaired tear to left arm, arm discs added, bald spots, thinning and wear, tear to left ear repaired)
